In April, Yale University hosted the North Eastern Public Humanities Symposium. The three-day event brought together leaders from the region to discuss their programs and how best a network of institutions could support and further the work of public humanities. Participating institutions included Bard, Brown, CUNY, Columbia, LeHigh, Rutgers-Newark, UMass-Boston, and Yale.
The symposium concluded with the creation of the New England Public Humanities Consortium.
